Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

  • Arrive in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda.
  • Check-in at the church owned hotel in Kigali.
  • Visit the Sainte Famille Church in Kigali, a historic and significant religious site.
  • Spend the rest of the day exploring Kigali.
  • Overnight at the hotel in Kigali

Day 2: Kabgayi Basilica and Ruhango Kwa Yezu Nyirimpuhwe

  • Depart from Kigali to Kabgayi, home to the Kabgayi Basilica, one of the largest and historical churches in Rwanda.
  • Spend the morning exploring Kabgayi Basilica and participating in any religious activities or services.
  • Afterward, travel to Ruhango to visit Kwa Yezu Nyirimpuhwe, a significant religious site known for its spiritual significance.
  • Transfer to Nyanza in the evening.
  • Overnight in Nyanza

Day 3: Nyanza Christ Roi Church and Save First Church

  • In the morning visit the  an iconic architectural masterpiece with historical and religious significance. Attend the morning mass with the local community.
  • Before departing, have a visit at the Kings Palace
  • Continue the journey to Save to visit the First Catholic Church in Rwanda, a site of historical importance in the country’s religious landscape.

  • Transfer to Kibeho in the late afternoon.
  • Overnight in Kibeho

 

Day 4: Kibeho Pilgrimage

  • Get a guided tour in Kibeho, known as the “Lourdes of Africa,” famous for its Marian apparitions.
  • Spend the day participating in pilgrimage activities, visiting various holy sites, and attending religious services.
  • Take time for personal reflection and prayer.
  • Return to Kigali in the late afternoon.
